Samuel Flores

Samuel Flores is a Research Professor at Stockholm University's Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics, where he directs the Research School in Bioinformatics. He also serves as Dean of Students for MedBioInfo, Sweden's national graduate school in medical bioinformatics.

• Research Focus: Computational modeling of macromolecular structure/dynamics using MMB tool and deep learning
• Current Projects: RNA structure prediction, viral DNA genome packaging, in silico affinity maturation
• Teaching: Lecturer in KB7016/KB7021 Bioinformatics course

Labs & Teams: Leads a research group developing web servers for protein design, flexibility prediction, and RNA modeling. Collaborates with Science for Life Laboratory in Solna.

His work bridges computational methods development with practical applications in biologics design and structural biology.
