Samuel Fleischacker is a LAS Distinguished Professor and Placement Director in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Illinois at Chicago's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. He earned his PhD from Yale University in 1989 and specializes in moral and political philosophy, the history of moral philosophy, and philosophy of religion.
