Dr Samuel Callaghan is a Lecturer in Strength and Conditioning Sciences at St Mary’s University. He holds a PhD from Edith Cowan University (2018) and a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science (Honours) from the University of Newcastle (2013). His research focuses on cricket pace bowlers’ biomechanics, change-of-direction performance, and strength-based exercise mechanics. Previously, he served as Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coordinator at the Western Australian Cricket Association, contributing to the U19 team’s 2016/17 National Championship win.
