Samuel Beasley

Samuel Beasley is an Associate Professor in the Department of Counselor Education and Counseling Psychology at Western Michigan University. His work centers on understanding factors influencing academic success among Black college students and analyzing barriers in the professional psychology pipeline for men of color, particularly African American men.

Dr. Beasley's research investigates predictors of academic self-concept and achievement in Black student populations and examines systemic challenges faced by men of color in psychology training programs. His prior clinical experience spans higher education and community counseling settings.
