Professor Sampson Dimitrios is a faculty member at the University of Piraeus's Department of Digital Systems, part of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technologies. He has held academic roles since 2001, including professorships and research leadership positions at institutions like Curtin University (Australia) and the University of Tartu (Estonia). His research focuses on digital systems for education, educational technology, and smart learning environments.
Education: BEng in Electrical Engineering from Democritus University of Thrace (1989), PhD in Electronic Systems Engineering from the University of Essex, UK (1995).
Research interests include AI-driven learning, flipped classrooms, educational data analytics, and inclusive technology.
