Samir Bhowmik is a Helsinki-based multi-disciplinary artist, architect, and scholar currently serving as an Academy of Finland Research Fellow (2022-2027) at the University of the Arts Helsinki's Academy of Fine Arts. His work bridges extractivism, ecology, and technology through performance art, installation, and research.
