Sameline Grimsgaard

Sameline Grimsgaard is a Professor of Epidemiology at the Department of Community Medicine, UiT The Arctic University of Norway. She leads the Tromsø Study, a long-term population-based epidemiological research project, and the RESTART-project, focusing on lifestyle interventions for cardiovascular health. She holds a 20% adjunct role as a research advisor at the University Hospital of Northern Norway (UNN). Her research emphasizes cardiovascular disease risk factors, obesity, and physical activity, with particular attention to public health implications in aging populations.
