Samantha Manewitz

Samantha Manewitz is a PhD student at the University of Toronto’s Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work, specializing in Sexual Diversity Studies, and serves as a Lecturer at the Institute for Sexuality Education and Enlightenment where she presents on sex therapy and sexual diversity topics.

Her research and professional work centers on sex therapy, sexual diversity, healthy communication, abuse prevention, neurodiversity, and transformative justice. As an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist working toward supervisor certification, she provides gender/sexuality affirming therapy and has trained mental health professionals, sex educators, and alternative sexuality communities across these domains.
