His current PhD research examines the impacts of long-term woodland creation on invertebrate communities, with specific focus on how local and landscape variables affect invertebrate colonisation, functional diversity, and trophic complexity.
Mr. Rogerson is actively involved in two major research projects:
- WrEN (Woodland Creation and Ecological Networks) - a long-term project providing evidence for ecological network conservation
- RestREco (Restoring Resilient Ecosystems) - where he served as co-lead of invertebrate identification
