Sam Moreton

Dr. Sam Moreton is a Lecturer and Associate Lecturer (Career Development Fellow) at the University of Wollongong, affiliated with the School of Psychology. He holds a PhD and Bachelor of Arts (Hons I) in Psychology from the University of Sydney.

• Research Focus: Clinical and health psychology, social and personality psychology, existential psychology, and psychedelic science.

His recent work explores the therapeutic effects of psychedelics on death anxiety, existential meaning, and obsessive-compulsive disorder symptomology, alongside nature connectedness and moral psychology. Publications span journals like Psychopharmacology, Death Studies, and Ecopsychology.
