Sam Fisher is an Associate Professor and Division Chair in the Division of Media Arts, Film at Nova Scotia College of Art and Design University (NSCAD). With over 25 years in the film industry, he has worked across roles from carpentry to executive producing, spanning indie to blockbuster projects. His creative work includes award-winning short films and authored books.
Education:
- Graduate of London International Film School, London’s Covent Garden.
Research/Practice: Currently focusing on new fiction for young and adult audiences. His work blends technical innovation (e.g., ANDRA Motion Focus system) with narrative creativity, emphasizing storytelling across film, theater, and literature.
