Sally Peyman is an Associate Professor at Heriot-Watt University's Institute of Biological Chemistry, Biophysics and Bioengineering, within the School of Engineering & Physical Sciences. She holds a Visiting Professor position at the University of Leeds (2024–2027). Her academic journey includes a BSc in Chemistry with Forensic Science & Toxicology from the University of Hull, a PhD in microfluidics for clinical diagnostics (2010, supervised by Prof. Nicole Pamme), and postdoctoral roles at Imperial College London and the University of Leeds.
