Dr Sally Day is a Research Fellow and Lecturer in the Discipline of Occupational Therapy at the University of Sydney's Sydney School of Health Sciences within the Faculty of Medicine and Health. She is a member of the Sydney Southeast Asia Centre and the Charles Perkins Centre.
Her research focuses on dementia care, particularly for diverse populations, implementation of evidence-based practices, and non-pharmacological interventions. She completed her PhD in 2024 titled 'Occupational therapy interventions for people with dementia from diverse groups: A realist inquiry' and joined the University of Sydney in 2016.
