Sally Brown

Dr. Sally Brown is an Associate Professor of Education at The College of Idaho, specializing in literacy development and evidence-based teaching methods. With degrees from Utah State University and the University of Virginia, she develops curriculum aligned with the science of reading.

Her research focuses on literacy interventions, dyslexia support, and reading comprehension strategies. Brown co-authored Idaho's Comprehensive Literacy Plan and Dyslexia Handbook, shaping statewide educational policies.

She leads professional development workshops for educators and presented at the World Literacy Summit at Oxford University on equitable reading instruction approaches.
