Saje Mathieu is an Associate Professor of History at the University of Minnesota and a Faculty Fellow at Harvard University’s Warren Center for Studies in American History. She holds a joint Ph.D. in History and African American Studies from Yale University (2001). Her research focuses on 20th-century African American and global diasporic histories, emphasizing migration, war, race, and transnational political resistance.
