Dr. Saif Al Ghafri is a Senior Research Fellow and Hydrogen Technology Lead at the University of Western Australia's School of Engineering, with adjunct roles at the International Space Centre. His research focuses on hydrogen economy, liquid hydrogen systems, and thermophysical properties of cryogenic fluids. He leads the 'Propellant and Cryogenic Fluids' group and collaborates with NASA, Imperial College London, and NIST.

- Boil-off gas management
- Techno-economic analysis of clean energy supply chains
