Saied Mostaghimi is the H.E. and Elizabeth F. Alphin Professor in the Department of Biological Systems Engineering at Virginia Tech. He serves as the Associate Dean for Research in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and directs the Biodesign and Bioprocessing Research Center (BBRC). His research spans nonpoint source pollution control, watershed management, and bioprocessing of agricultural wastes.
