Dr. Sahar Saleh is a Postdoctoral Researcher in 5G RF at the WiSAR Lab, Atlantic Technological University (ATU) Donegal, Ireland. Her role focuses on applied research in RF/microwave engineering with practical commercial applications across healthcare and wireless communication sectors.
Her educational qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Aden University, Yemen
- MSc in Wireless Communications Engineering from Yarmouk University, Jordan
- PhD in Microwave and Satellite Systems from Universiti Sains Malaysia
Dr. Saleh specializes in RF/microwave component miniaturization (filters, dividers, antennas), wearable/3D antenna systems, MIMO technology, and Internet of Healthcare Things (IoHT). Her research bridges theoretical innovation with real-world medical and industrial applications, particularly in developing compact antenna solutions for healthcare monitoring systems.
As part of WiSAR Lab, she contributes to a multidisciplinary team delivering IoT solutions for medtech, healthtech, manufacturing, marine, and agritech industries. The lab operates as a Technology Gateway co-funded by the Irish Government and European Union through ERDF regional programs, emphasizing industry collaboration and commercializable research outcomes.
