Saeid Ghavami

Saeid Ghavami is an Associate Professor in the Department of Human Anatomy and Cell Science at the Max Rady College of Medicine, University of Manitoba. His research focuses on cellular mechanisms such as apoptosis, autophagy, and the unfolded protein response (UPR) in cancer, particularly lung cancer metastasis, glioblastoma, and rhabdomyosarcoma. He holds cross-appointments as an Honorary Professor at Shiraz University of Medical Science, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, and Katowice School of Technology in Poland.
