About
Dr.-Ing. Sabrina Goßler is a Researcher at the Institute for Chemical Technology and Polymer Chemistry at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), affiliated with Prof. Deutschmann's research group. Her work focuses on homogeneous gas-phase reactions in exhaust-gas systems of internal combustion engines. She holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Provadis School of International Management and Technology, and completed an apprenticeship as a Chemical Laboratory Assistant at Clariant.
Her research interests revolve around exhaust gas after-treatment systems, reaction kinetics in lean NOx/NH3/O2/H2O mixtures, and modeling of gas-phase reactions in automotive exhaust environments. She has presented her work at prominent conferences such as the International Workshop on Clean Combustion (2019) and MODEGAT VI (2019), showcasing posters and oral presentations on these topics.
She has conducted a research stay at the Key Laboratory for Power Machinery and Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (2019). Her current Ph.D. research examines homogeneous gas-phase reactions in exhaust-gas tailpipes, contributing to cleaner automotive emissions technologies.
