Sabrina Gardner

Sabrina Gardner is a Professor of Fashion at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), serving since 1996. She teaches fashion design and foundation courses, advises graduate theses and undergraduate curricula, and oversees community workshops. Her roles include membership in the accreditation committee and contributions to SCAD's annual fashion shows. She holds an M.F.A. in Fashion from SCAD (1996) and a B.A. in Apparel Design from Rhode Island School of Design (RISD, 1990).

Her professional experience spans design roles at Liz Claiborne Dresses (1991–1993), where she developed knitwear lines, managed production specs, and collaborated on seasonal presentations. She has also worked as an assistant designer at Blassport (1990) and held design, illustration, and modeling roles at Susan Shields, Inc. (1989). Her research interests focus on fashion design innovation, curriculum development in art education, and textile technology applications.
