Sabrina DeFabritiis is a Professor of Legal Writing and Director of Bar Programs and Initiatives at Suffolk University Law School. She is a national leader in legal writing and serves as Chair of the AALS Section on Legal Writing, Reasoning, and Research, and Co-Chair of the Legal Writing Institute's Idea Bank.

Her research focuses on legal writing pedagogy, oral advocacy techniques, and intersections of animal law with tort and insurance law. She has contributed to scholarship on bar exam preparation and feedback methodologies in legal education.
Her recent publications include work on enhancing legal research engagement, bar exam readiness, and critiques of breed-specific legislation. She mentors students through roles as Faculty Advisor to the National Moot Court Team, Jessup Team, and Foreign Direct Investment Team.
At Suffolk, she teaches first-year and advanced legal writing, Negotiation, and bar preparation courses. She previously clerked for Massachusetts Superior Court justices and practiced appellate law at Campbell Campbell Edwards & Conroy P.C.
