Sabrina Carletti

Sabrina Carletti is a Lecturer in the Department of Visualization at Texas A&M University. Her interdisciplinary work bridges art history, visual and cultural studies, and media theory. She holds a Ph.D. from an unspecified institution (2019).

Her research focuses on modern and contemporary Latin American art, with a specialization in Argentinian avant-garde movements. Her current book project, derived from her dissertation, examines Xul Solar and the Argentinian Avant-Garde through themes of immigration, modernization, and European modernist dialogues. This work explores artists' roles in shaping national identities and participatory practices.

Carletti’s academic interests span global modernisms, media history, migration studies, and 19th-21st century Argentinian literature. She combines scholarly research with performance art and public service to advocate for interdisciplinary and inclusive approaches in cultural studies.
