Dr. Saba Shafiq is a Research Fellow at the University of Bradford since August 2022, focusing on increasing cancer screening uptake among South Asian Muslim women through community engagement. Previously, she worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Leeds on patient safety interventions in mental health wards and held roles as an educator in Health Studies and Psychology. She holds a PhD in Dementia Studies from the University of Bradford, exploring cultural influences on dementia care for minority ethnic communities.
