SEVİL ALBAYRAK

Prof. Dr. SEVİL ALBAYRAK is a Professor and Vice Dean at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Cyprus Aydin University. She also serves as Head of the Nursing Department and Director of the Health Services Vocational School. Her academic roles include overseeing departments such as Nursing (English), Nutrition and Dietetics (MA), and managing the Vocational School. She has taught courses like Epidemiology, Public Health Nursing, and Research Methods, emphasizing evidence-based practice and scientific ethics.

Her research focuses on public health, nursing education, health literacy, and mental health interventions. Notable projects include studies on bullying prevention, health workers' pandemic resilience, and community nursing models. She has published extensively on topics like mental health treatment attitudes, health belief systems, and nursing practices in metabolic syndrome management.

Prof. Albayrak’s work bridges clinical practice and public health, addressing issues such as healthcare stigma reduction, adolescent health behaviors, and curriculum development for nursing education.
