S. Megan Che is an Associate Professor in the Department of Teaching and Learning at Clemson University's College of Education. Her work centers on equity, social justice, and culturally responsive pedagogy in STEM education, with a focus on mathematics and computer science. She has secured over $3.995 million in external funding as Principal or Co-Principal Investigator from the National Science Foundation and the U.S. Department of State.
Her research seeks to dismantle systemic inequities in access to high-quality STEM education, particularly for racially and socioeconomically marginalized students. She leads the NSF-funded CR?CS project, which prepares South Carolina teachers to deliver culturally responsive computer science instruction, significantly expanding access to high school computer science for underserved populations.
