Ryan Turner

Dr. Ryan Turner is Associate Professor at the University of Queensland and Director of the Reef Catchments Science Partnership. His research addresses water quality challenges in Great Barrier Reef catchments through advanced monitoring and risk assessment frameworks.

Turner develops novel methods for assessing pesticide risks and sediment transport using sensor networks, machine learning, and statistical modeling. His work informs policy through the Pesticide Decision Support Tool and guides catchment management strategies.
