Ryan Tolboom

Ryan Tolboom is a University Lecturer in the Informatics department at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT). He serves as Associate Chair for Information Technology and focuses on teaching and research in cybersecurity, systems administration, and information technology. His educational background includes a B.S. (2004) and M.S. (2019) in Computer Science from NJIT.

His teaching and scholarly interests encompass computer systems security, network administration, IT infrastructure, and e-commerce technologies. He has developed courses such as 'Computer Systems Security,' 'Systems Administration,' and 'Computer Systems and Networks.'

Ryan's recent work emphasizes practical applications of cybersecurity principles and IT management strategies. His courses reflect a focus on real-world challenges in system planning, network design, and secure technology implementation.
