Ryan Snyder

Ryan Snyder is an Associate Professor of Law at the University of Missouri School of Law, specializing in administrative law, constitutional law, and statutory interpretation. His recent work explores federal agency regulatory strategies through nonenforcement mechanisms.

• Education: JD from Notre Dame Law School (summa cum laude), BA from Miami University.

Research Focus: Professor Snyder's scholarship examines how legal institutions adapt to complex regulatory challenges, with particular emphasis on pragmatic approaches to federal agency discretion and statutory enforcement dynamics.

Legal Practice Experience: Prior to his academic role, he clerked for Chief Justice John G. Roberts and Judge Raymond Kethledge, worked in the U.S. Solicitor General's Office as a Bristow Fellow, and practiced at Jones Day.
