Ryan Latimer is an Associate Professor in Music at the University of Birmingham, specializing in composition and interdisciplinary collaboration. His work spans orchestral, choral, and chamber music, with notable collaborations in dance and theater. He holds a BMus from Birmingham Conservatoire, an MMus from the Royal Academy of Music, and a PhD in Composition funded by the AHRC.
His research focuses on playful compositional techniques, blending classical and popular influences. Key works include *Moby Dick* (2014), *Three Tall Tales of Doctor Monsieur Façade* (2015), and recent orchestral pieces like *Bellwether* (2023).
