Dr. Ryan Benton is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Computer Science at the University of South Alabama. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (2001). His research focuses on Data Mining, Machine Learning, and their applications in Cyber-Security, Digital Forensics, and Biomedicine. He has advised numerous graduate students and published extensively on topics like blockchain security, malware detection, and medical data analysis.
