Ryan Barker

Associate Lecturer in Paramedicine at Queensland University of Technology (QUT). Affiliated with the Faculty of Health, School of Clinical Sciences, and Paramedic Science department. Holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Queensland.

Research Focus: Clinical sciences with specialization in paramedicine, including out-of-hospital care and prehospital protocols. Active in publishing peer-reviewed work, such as a 2023 scoping review protocol on retracted paramedicine-related publications.

Teaching: Has been an Associate Lecturer in Paramedicine since 2019. Registered Paramedic and member of the Australian College of Paramedicine.

Affiliations: Engaged with QUT’s academic community, contributing to both education and research in paramedic science.
