Dr. Ryan Alkins is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Neurosurgery at Queen's University's School of Medicine, affiliated with Kingston Health Sciences Centre. His research focuses on neuro-oncology, medical imaging, and focused ultrasound therapies, particularly blood-brain barrier disruption for brain tumor treatment. He holds academic appointments in the Department of Surgery and the Centre for Neuroscience Studies.
