Ruud van Sloun

Ruud van Sloun is an Associate Professor in the Signal Processing Systems group within the Department of Electrical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). He specializes in advanced sensing and deep learning algorithms for medical imaging applications, particularly ultrasound and MRI. His work bridges signal processing, machine learning, and biomedical engineering.

Education: MSc (2014) and PhD (2018) in Electrical Engineering (both cum laude) from TU/e. Joined TU/e as an Assistant Professor in 2018.

His methods aim to improve imaging speed, resolution, and accessibility through intelligent signal processing systems.
