Dr. Ruth Rodney is an Associate Professor at York University's School of Nursing and Faculty of Health, as well as Associate Director of the Harriet Tubman Institute for Research on Africa and its Diasporas. With 15 years of frontline nursing experience, she teaches global health, women’s health, and theoretical approaches to nursing science.
- Research Focus: Violence prevention, health promotion, and critical qualitative methodologies to study community environments supporting healthy relationships.
