About
Dr. Ruth Partzsch is a group leader of the ATML Advanced Time Integrators at the Jülich Supercomputing Centre (JSC) within Research Center Jülich GmbH. She studied Mathematics at RWTH Aachen University and is a trained mathematical-technical software developer.
Her research focuses on numerical mathematics, particularly semi-implicit time-stepping methods and parallel-in-time integration techniques for partial differential equations. She collaborates with the Technical University of Dresden and FH Aachen, University of Applied Sciences, to advance computational methods and train future software developers.
She actively promotes young talents and advocates for equal opportunities and diversity in STEM, managing the first German WHPC (Women in High Performance Computing) chapter. Her work emphasizes high-performance computing, simulation science, and computational methods for extreme-scale systems.
