Rustom Irani is a Professor of Finance and Julian Simon Faculty Fellow at the Gies College of Business, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from New York University (2013), an M.Phil. in Economics from Oxford University (2006), and a B.S. in Economics from the London School of Economics (2004). His research focuses on corporate finance, financial intermediation, and macroprudential policy effects. He has been continuously employed at the University of Illinois since 2013.
