About
Prof. Rustem Valiullin is an Adjunct Professor at the Felix Bloch Institute for Solid State Physics, Leipzig University. He holds a PhD in Physics from Kazan State University (Russia) and has held prestigious fellowships, including the Heisenberg Fellowship (2008–2013) and the A. von Humboldt Research Fellowship (2003–2005). His research focuses on nanoporous solids, diffusion processes, and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) techniques. He leads projects funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG), exploring phase states in nanoporous materials and advanced NMR cryoporometry.
- Education: B.Sc. (1991) and PhD (1996) in Physics, Kazan State University.
Research interests include thermodynamics of confined systems, fluid transport in heterogeneous materials, and material characterization via NMR. His recent projects investigate freezing/melting transitions and pore structure analysis in multi-scale porous materials. Valiullin teaches advanced courses on NMR technology, quantum spin resonance, and physics of nanoporous materials at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
