Russell Taylor

Russell Taylor is a University Lecturer at Simon Fraser University's School of Interactive Arts & Technology since 2002, recipient of SFU's Excellence in Teaching Award (2013). He founded and directs international design field schools including italiaDesign (since 2003) and dutchDesign, facilitating student engagement with global design leaders.

His pedagogy emphasizes professional practice in UX/UI, spatial design, and typography. As director of the Touchpoint Design Conference, he connects students with industry through lectures and internship opportunities, resulting in numerous placements at top tech firms.
