Russell Funk

Russell Funk is an Associate Professor at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management, holding the Edward and Eleanor Asplin Endowed Faculty Fellowship in Ethical Cultures. He specializes in strategic management and entrepreneurship, with a focus on computational social science, network science, and the science of science. His work examines how scientific and technological knowledge evolves, including groundbreaking research on declining disruptiveness in science and healthcare innovation.
