Ruby de Vos

Dr. Ruby de Vos is a Lecturer in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Groningen, specializing in the intersection of art, literature, and environmental crises. She holds a PhD in European Languages and Culture (2022) and advanced degrees from the University of Amsterdam. Her research focuses on toxicity, nuclear aesthetics, and temporal disruptions in contemporary visual art and literature. She explores how toxic substances reshape human temporal experiences and futurity, particularly through Dutch nuclear culture post-1990.
