Roza Turarbekava holds a Doctor of History degree and served as an Associate Professor at the Belarusian State University (BSU) from 1999 to 2022. During her tenure, she actively participated in the Belarusian Free Trade Union at BSU. From September 2022 to April 2023, she was a DAAD scholarship-supported visiting researcher at Justus-Liebig University in Giessen, Germany.
