Royce Koop is a Professor in the Department of Political Studies at the University of Manitoba, serving as Program Coordinator for Canadian Studies and Academic Director of the Centre for Social Science Research and Policy. His research focuses on political representation, Canadian political parties, and comparative politics. He holds a PhD from the University of British Columbia (2009), an MA from the University of Calgary (2003), and a BA from the University of Lethbridge (2002).
His work explores themes such as Indigenous political representation, municipal governance, and electoral dynamics.
