Roy van der Meel is an Associate Professor of Precision Medicine at the Biomedical Engineering Department of Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). His research focuses on developing RNA-based nanotherapeutics to regulate immune responses with precision, particularly targeting myeloid cells and bone marrow progenitors. He holds a Ph.D. from Utrecht University (2013) and conducted postdoctoral research at the University Medical Center Utrecht and the University of British Columbia. His work is supported by grants including NWO Veni (2015), Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action (2015), and NWO Vidi (2022).
