Rowena Muir is an Academic Lead and Director of Wiradjuri Preschool and Child Care Centre at the University of Canberra, where she also lectures in the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (Birth to Five) program. With over 30 years of experience in early childhood education, she has held diverse roles including teaching, leadership, regulatory oversight, and research management.
Research Interests
Her academic work centers on pedagogical leadership, oral language acquisition, early literacy development, and rights-based education frameworks. She maintains strong advocacy for early childhood professionalism nationwide.
