Ross Walker is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Surgery at Queen's University. He holds an interim role as Associate Dean for Postgraduate Medical Education. Dr. Walker earned his M.D. from Western University and completed his General Surgery residency at Queen's University, followed by a Surgical Oncology fellowship at Roswell Park Memorial Institute. His clinical interests focus on endocrine surgery, head/neck surgery, breast surgery, and colorectal surgery. Research priorities include postgraduate medical education and inflammatory bowel disease.
He is licensed by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) since 1989, holding specialty certification in General Surgery from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He maintains hospital privileges at Kingston Health Sciences Centre and operates under Ross Walker Medicine Professional Corporation.
