Rosetta D'Angelo is a Professor of Italian in the Department of World Languages at the School of Humanities and Global Studies, Ramapo College of New Jersey, where she has been teaching since 1986. Her academic work bridges language instruction, literary scholarship, and cultural programming.

She holds a B.S. from Southern Connecticut State University and earned both her M.S. and Ph.D. from Rutgers University.
Her teaching and research focus on Medieval and Renaissance Italian literature, with additional interests in 20th-century cultural and gendered narratives, particularly those of Italian partisan women. She explores intersections of literature, art, and political history, especially under Fascism and during World War II.
Her scholarly activity includes authored and edited books such as Resisting Bodies: Narratives of Italian Partisan Women and Mount Olympus by Salvatore Sciascia. She has presented at major academic conferences including those at Emory University, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Bogazici University in Istanbul, covering topics like cultural promotion of language studies, memory in post-war Italy, and censorship in the arts.
She teaches courses such as Foundations of Italian I & II, Intermediate Italian I & II, and Italian Cinema, integrating language learning with cultural and literary depth.
Professor D'Angelo actively promotes Italian language and culture through campus cultural events and academic programming.
