Rosemary Stott

Dr Rosemary Stott is a faculty member at the University of East London, serving as Dean of the School of Arts and Creative Industries. She holds a PhD in Film from Reading University, an MA in Film from Westminster University, and a BA from Oxford University.

Her research explores the intersection of film history, pedagogy, and educational technology. Earlier work involved a Horizon 2020 wearable technology project and Jisc-funded initiatives for dyslexic students.

Recent publications analyze Critical Race Theory in film education, DEFA film legacy, and digital pedagogy innovations. Awards include funding from Jisc, HEFCE, and HEA for educational technology projects. She supervises PhD students in German film, media practice, and transnational cinema.
