Rosemary Kellison

Rosemary Kellison is an Associate Professor of Religion at the Department of Religion, Florida State University, within the College of Arts and Sciences. Her research focuses on comparative religious ethics, feminist ethics, and the just war tradition. She holds a Ph.D. from Florida State University (2013) and has conducted extensive work on the intersection of gender, vulnerability, and moral injury in contexts of war and state violence.

Her current research explores feminist ethical frameworks addressing human vulnerability, solidarity, and moral damage linked to warfare. She also examines the role of feminist approaches within religious studies, challenging traditional disciplinary boundaries. Kellison’s scholarship bridges ethical theory, religious traditions, and contemporary social issues, with a particular emphasis on gender analysis.
