Rose Sinclair MBE is a Professor in Design Education at Goldsmiths, University of London. Her work bridges textile practices, design pedagogy, and cultural history with a focus on Black Caribbean women's contributions. She holds a PhD from Goldsmiths and degrees in Textiles, Education, and Art Design.
- Research: Explores Dorcas Clubs' roles in Caribbean textile networks, Althea McNish's legacy, and decolonizing textile archives.
- Awards: MBE (2024), Special Civic Engagement Award (2020), Windrush 75 Funding (2023).
Her exhibitions include Althea McNish: Colour is Mine (2022-2023) and Dorcas Stories: Narratives from the Front Room (2023). She serves as an editor for Text: For the Study of the History, Art and Design of Textiles and holds roles at Heritage Crafts UK and The Crafts Council.
